What Okubo & Shin-Okubo is like

East of Shin-Okubo Station, Korean restaurants, cosmetics, and groceries extend from Okubo-dori toward Shokuan-dori alongside businesses serving many other Asian communities. Weekend queues crowd the station pavement and make short distances slow.

Use established businesses with visible prices rather than street solicitation. This is also a neighborhood of homes and schools, so manage food waste, noise, and photography carefully.

Stations and access

JR Shin-Okubo has a single main gate and becomes congested. JR Okubo South Exit can provide a different return route without backtracking.
