What Koenji is like

Koenji's shopping streets extend north and south of JR Koenji among residential blocks, mixing vintage clothing, music, and small restaurants. Southbound, Pal and Look form a one-way walk to Shin-koenji Station.

Major events such as the August Awa Odori radically change crowds and traffic controls. Avoid festival dates unless attending, and check fitting, return, and photography rules in vintage shops.

Stations and access

JR Koenji North Exit serves Junjo; South Exit serves Pal and Hikawa Shrine. Look shopping street continues to Shin-koenji on the Marunouchi Line.
