Aoyama and Omotesando Guide
Walk Omotesando's architecture and visit Nezu Museum, Taro Okamoto Memorial Museum, Spiral, and Omotesando Hills.
What Aoyama & Omotesando is like
Aoyama and Omotesando spread contemporary architecture, design venues, and small museums from the zelkova-lined avenue into side streets. Distinguish buildings viewed from outside from venues with exhibitions when planning time.
Nezu Museum and the Taro Okamoto Memorial Museum lie south of Omotesando Station, while Omotesando Hills is toward Harajuku. Choose one museum as the main visit and use the rest of the time for architecture.
Stations and access
Omotesando Exit A2 serves the Harajuku and Hills direction; A4–A5 serve Aoyama-dori and the route to Nezu Museum. Gaiemmae is useful for approaching along Aoyama-dori.
