What Akihabara is like

Akihabara changes character between Electric Town west of the station, large retailers on the east, the railway arches toward Okachimachi, and Kanda Myojin to the northwest. Choose one or two priorities—electronics, components, anime, games, cards, or crafts—to avoid wandering between similar signs.

New, used, and unopened resale goods can have different warranties and return rules. Before paying, check tax-free eligibility, voltage, region compatibility, and whether an item can be carried home.

Stations and access

At JR Akihabara, Electric Town Exit serves Radio Kaikan and smaller shops; Showa-dori Exit is closer to Yodobashi. From Suehirocho, walk south through the district.
