Naha travel guide: sights and a practical walking route
Okinawa's urban base connects Shuri Castle, Kokusai Street, Makishi Market, Tsuboya, Naminoue Shrine, and Fukushu-en by Yui Rail and walking.
What Naha is like
Yui Rail links Naha Airport to the center. Shuri Castle lies east while Naminoue and Fukushu-en lie west, so divide morning and afternoon.
Shuri Castle remains under reconstruction after the fire and public routes can change. Northern Okinawa and outer islands are separate itineraries.
Stations and access
Use Asahibashi, Miebashi, Makishi, and Shuri stations as separate gateways. Naminoue is farther from rail and may need bus or taxi.
