What Takamatsu is like

Tamamo Park is walkable from Takamatsu Station and Chikko; Ritsurin uses Kotoden or JR. Yashima and Shikoku Mura lie outside the center and combine well in one half day.

Around island ferries, work backward from boarding cutoff. Some udon shops sell out after lunch, so posted hours may not guarantee service.

Stations and access

JR Takamatsu, Kotoden Chikko, and the port cluster together. Ritsurin and Yashima lie in different directions and require coordinated transport.

  • Japanese garden
  • Base for Setouchi islands
  • Castle ruins and udon
